The cost of chemotherapy treatment for colorectal cancer is expensive, and often deters patients who have limited/ insufficient financial means from obtaining timely treatments.
This CSR program aims to offer chemotherapy treatment to eligible patients at a fraction of the cost thus making treatment more affordable and accessible. Under the Colorectal Cancer Chemotherapy Welfare Fund program, eligible patients could obtain the same treatment with only 20% of the normal cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How can I enroll myself into this program?
-Interested patients are to first consult an oncologist at Beacon Hospital to establish the best treatment plan. If the attending doctor prescribes chemotherapy as part of the treatment plan, patients will then be guided further to apply for this welfare fund. Simply fill in the form below.
2. How many cycles of chemotherapy will I receive under this program?
-Typically, a colorectal cancer patient will require 8-12 cycles of chemotherapy. Under this program, eligible patients will receive CSR subsidy for all cycles as prescribed by the attending doctor.
3. How long will it take for my application to be processed?
-All applications will be processed within 1-2 days upon receipt of complete documents.
4. Will my personal information be shared with anyone else without my consent?
-No. All information obtained in the CSR application is deemed highly confidential and will not be shared with any parties without prior consent from you.
Radiotherapy & Radiosurgery Welfare Fund
Eligibility
- Open to Malaysian citizens only.
- Patients who are seeking radiotherapy and/or radiosurgery treatment are applicable for this program.
- Patients who are of low income group, financially challenged, exhausted their finances or have insufficient medical insurance coverage.
Application Overview
- Patients are required to consult oncologist as an outpatient (consultation charges apply) in Beacon Hospital.
- Once the treatment plan is established, the attending oncologist will then refer the case to Beacon’s CSR office for financial assessment and eligibility.
- It will take approximately 1 – 2 days to process the application.
- Once the application is approved, the patient will be provided with a guarantee letter, which will enable the patient to get the treatment done at the agreed subsidized cost.
