What is Breast Cancer?

Breast cancer is the most common cancer that affects women worldwide. Just in Malaysia alone, 1 out of 17 women were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 (Globocan, 2020).

Many patients delay getting the necessary treatment due to financial constraints and lack of knowledge, highly affecting their treatment outcome and overall survival. The sooner a patient gets treated, the better the outcome and survival.

In collaboration with Beacon Hospital and Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation (PRWF), we hereby would like to introduce a patient assistance program for breast cancer patients named ADJUVANT CHEMOTHERAPY/ RADIOTHERAPY WELFARE FUND 2022. Under this program, underprivileged breast cancer patients will get their chemotherapy/ radiotherapy treatment fully sponsored by BH and PRWF.

Beacon Hospital (BH) and Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation (PRWF) share a common goal which is to reach out to the needy and at the same time encourage patients to step forward and seek timely treatment.
