We are pleased to share that Dato’ Dr Lee Joon Kiong, Consultant Orthopaedic & Arthroplasty Surgeon, was recently invited to join PruBSN’s monthly Health On Air podcast.
During the session, Dato’ Dr Lee discussed a common concern among people who spend long hours using gadgets: hand numbness. He shared insights into some of the possible causes, symptoms that should not be overlooked, and the treatment options available for those experiencing persistent or recurring symptoms.
The conversation also covered orthopaedic day surgery, including procedures such as carpal tunnel release and trigger finger release. Dato’ Dr Lee explained how selected procedures can be performed as day surgery, depending on the patient’s condition and suitability.
Sessions like Health On Air provide an opportunity to bring conversations about orthopaedic health closer to the public. By sharing practical information on common conditions and available treatment options, patients can be better informed about when to seek medical advice and what to expect from treatment.
We would like to thank PruBSN for inviting Dato’ Dr Lee to be part of Health On Air and for providing a platform to raise awareness of orthopaedic health and treatment options.
We are proud to see our specialists contributing to conversations that help the public better understand their health and make informed decisions about their care.
