拿督 Dr Devanand 是马来西亚雪兰莪州八打灵再也市 寶康医院 的乳腺外科顾问医生。他曾参与众多国内外学术会议，并维持多个国际专业组织的会员资格，包括欧洲肿瘤学学校（European School of Oncology）。他于2000年获得马来西亚医学科学院（Academy of Medicine of Malaysia）院士资格，目前专注于乳腺外科实践，并关注乳腺癌治疗的新发展，同时积极推动乳腺癌教育及支持护理

他自2001年起在全国范围内举办多项“粉红丝带（Pink Ribbon）”乳腺癌宣传活动，并凭借“Pantai Hospital 乳腺癌教育与宣传活动（2005）”获得亚洲医院管理大奖（Asian Hospital Management Award）之“市场营销、公共关系与推广”奖项。

他于2012年2月在马来西亚成立粉红丝带健康基金会（Pink Ribbon Wellness Foundation, PRWF），并获得多位乳腺癌康复者支持。该基金会现已成为活跃组织，致力于乳腺健康教育、预防倡导、定期筛查与早期发现，同时支持癌症康复者，帮助他们更好理解疾病并提升康复质量。

PRWF 于2012年、2015年及2018年在吉隆坡举办了三届大型乳腺癌康复者大会——“乳腺癌后的生活会议（Life Beyond Breast Cancer Conference, LBBC）”。
