Dr Lau Peng Choong is a Consultant General and Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgeon at Beacon Hospital, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. He holds an MD from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), a Master of Surgery from the University of Malaya (UM), and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS, USA). Dr Lau completed a Post-CCT Fellowship in Upper GI Surgery in the UK as well as an Advanced Gastric Cancer Fellowship in Korea.
