Beacon Hospital’s Dr Nur Aishah Mohd Taib, Consultant Breast Surgeon, was invited to participate in PruBSN’s Health On Air podcast on 1 October 2026 for a discussion titled “Cancer Doesn’t Wait. Are You Ready?”
The session focused on cancer awareness, the importance of early action and the need to be prepared for the challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis.
During the podcast, Dr Nur Aishah shared her clinical perspective on how cancer can affect individuals of different ages, the importance of recognising changes in one’s health and seeking medical attention early.
She also discussed how advances in cancer care are changing approaches to cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The conversation further explored the physical, emotional and financial impact of cancer, highlighting the importance of preparedness throughout the cancer journey.
