On 10 June 2026, Beacon Hospital took an important step towards strengthening community healthcare through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Morning Star Social Initiatives Team and the 1 Razak Mansion community.
The signing took place during the official opening of the 1 Razak Mansion Muhibbah Hall, marking the beginning of a shared commitment to improving access to preventive healthcare, health education and community-based initiatives.
Just weeks later, the partnership moved from commitment to action.
In conjunction with the Morning Star Community Parents’ Day, Malaysia’s First 3D Digital Mammogram Bus made its way to 1 Razak Mansion, bringing breast cancer awareness and screening services directly to the community.
The event brought residents and families together for a meaningful day centred on health, wellbeing and community connection. Alongside the Parents’ Day activities, the presence of the Mammogram Bus gave members of the community greater access to breast health information and screening opportunities closer to home.
Through initiatives like this, Beacon Hospital aims to encourage greater awareness of the importance of early detection while making preventive healthcare more accessible to the communities we serve.
