What is oncology?

Oncology is a branch of medicine that focuses on the research, diagnosis, and treatment of different types of cancer in patients. A medical doctor practicing oncology is known as an oncologist. Having specially trained to manage oncology, they are committed to providing the latest evidence-based treatment and care throughout the course of the disease.
