Dr Tan Gie Hooi is a Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon at Beacon Hospital, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. She holds an MBBS and Master of Surgery from the University of Malaya, is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS, Edinburgh), and completed a Breast Surgery Fellowship at the University of Malaya. Dr Tan is also an Academician of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AM).
