Dr Zaharuddin is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Gynaecology-Oncology at Beacon Hospital, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. He holds an MBBS and Master of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MObGyn) from the University of Malaya, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG, UK) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG, USA). Dr Zaharuddin is also a fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS, USA) and an Academician of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AM).

He is a Certified Gynaecological Oncologist recognised by both the Malaysian Society of Gynaecologic Oncology and the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, as well as a Certified Colposcopist (BSCCP/RCOG, UK). Dr Zaharuddin also holds a Certificate in da Vinci Surgical Technology.
