The cost of chemotherapy treatment for colorectal cancer is expensive and often deters patients who have limited/ insufficient financial means from obtaining timely treatments.
This CSR programme aims to offer chemotherapy treatment to eligible patients at a fraction of the cost thus making treatment more affordable and accessible. Under the Colorectal Cancer Chemotherapy Welfare Fund program, eligible patients could obtain the same treatment with only 20% of the normal cost.
Interested patients are to first consult an oncologist at Beacon Hospital to establish the best treatment plan. If the attending doctor prescribes chemotherapy as part of the treatment plan, patients will then be guided further to apply for this welfare fund. Simply fill in the form below.
Typically, a colorectal cancer patient will require 8-12 cycles of chemotherapy. Under this program, eligible patients will receive CSR subsidy for all cycles as prescribed by the attending doctor.
