In response to the devastating floods that struck North Sumatra, West Sumatra and Aceh, resulting in the loss of over 1,170 lives (Source: Al Jazeera, 2026), Beacon Hospital deployed a dedicated medical relief team to Indonesia to provide urgent healthcare assistance to affected communities.
From 8 to 11 January 2026, Beacon Hospital carried out an on-ground humanitarian medical mission focused on delivering free medical check-ups, health assessments and essential medication to flood-affected populations, where access to healthcare services had been severely disrupted.
