Beacon Hospital is proud to announce the launch of the Beacon Oncology Centre of Excellence (Bukit Rimau), extending its presence across the Klang Valley and bringing advanced cancer care closer to communities in Subang Jaya, Kota Kemuning, Klang, Jenjarom, Banting, and Telok Panglima Garang.
The Beacon Oncology Centre of Excellence (Bukit Rimau) is located within Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Rimau. Effective 1 January 2026, the former Cancer Centre of Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Rimau will be known as Beacon Oncology Centre of Excellence (Bukit Rimau) under the management of Beacon Hospital. The Centre provides comprehensive oncology services, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and clinical trials, reflecting Beacon Hospital’s commitment to expanding access to quality cancer care and strengthening its oncology network.
Beacon Oncology Centre of Excellence (Bukit Rimau) is designed to deliver a seamless and integrated patient journey — from appointment scheduling and consultation through to treatment and recovery — within a patient-centred environment. Strategically located on the Ground Floor, West Wing of Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Rimau, the Centre offers a comprehensive range of oncology services, including cancer screening, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, pain management and clinical trials. It is equipped with eight chemotherapy treatment couches, three day-care beds and a Linac Elekta Versa HD, featuring a six-dimensional robotic couch top (HexaPOD), uninterrupted arc treatments, precise tumour targeting with accurate dose delivery to surrounding tissues, as well as advanced 3D and 4D imaging. The system supports both Photon and Electron modalities and is capable of delivering highly sophisticated treatment techniques.
“The launch of Beacon Oncology Centre of Excellence (Bukit Rimau) marks a proud milestone for Beacon Hospital, reinforcing our commitment to advancing cancer care in Malaysia,” said Mr Hoe Cheah How, Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Hospital. “As cancer incidence continues to rise, it is our responsibility to provide patients with timely, comprehensive and world-class oncology care closer to home. We are also preparing for the planned launch of Beacon Hospital’s new wing in the fourth quarter of 2026, which will further enhance our ability to serve the community. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional, patient-centred care across all our services.”
Beacon Hospital’s oncology network now spans three key locations: Beacon Oncology Centre of Excellence (Bukit Rimau), Beacon Oncology Centre (Klang), and Beacon Oncology Clinic (Kuantan). Together, these centres form a cluster of oncology excellence, ensuring patients across the Klang Valley and key regional communities beyond with access to timely, high-quality cancer care supported by advanced technology and multidisciplinary expertise. This growing network reflects Beacon Hospital’s commitment to making world-class, patient-centred oncology care accessible, convenient, and comprehensive for the communities it serves.
