Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most common sexually transmitted infection and if left untreated, can lead to cervical cancer, throat cancer and other genital cancers. High risk HPV subtypes alone (HPV-16 and HPV -18) have been identified to be the cause of at least 70% of cervical cancer (World Health Organization).
Dengue is a viral infection spread by mosquitoes. While many dengue infections are asymptomatic or produce only mild symptoms, the virus can occasionally cause severe illness.
Studies show that dengue vaccination can help reduce cases of dengue fever by 80% and lower hospitalisation rates due to dengue by 90%.

The HPV vaccine (Gardasil-9) can help protect against 9 HPV types (6,11,16,18,31,33,45,52, and 58). Both males and females from age 9 to 45 are recommended to take the vaccine.
The Qdenga vaccine provides protection against four dengue virus serotypes (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4). Individuals from 4 years of age can take the vaccine.
